Tahoe National Brewing was a good choice for a quick lunch stop. They are a small restaurant and brewery located behind a shopping center with an outdoor patio and views of Lake Tahoe. The interior is designed nicely. We ordered the meatball sub and tots. The food came out at reasonable speed but could have been a bit faster given that we were one of two tables in the restaurant. I am assuming everything is made to order which is why it took a bit longer! The food was good and hot. The beer here is good. The kolsh is very solid and worth getting a full pint. My next favorite was the hefe. It seems like they have frequently rotating taps as they are a pretty small batch brewery. Only reason they missed the five star mark is because the food menu is very small. I think there were less than 10 items and they may not have something that everyone in your party enjoys. Also, small touches like printed beer menus instead of having to go to the bar would be nice. Overall I would recommend a stop here if you're visiting Tahoe City. Cheers!

Our hostess and server (Marianna) was as sweet and welcoming as could be. Gorgeous ambiance and decor inside. We had the large table which faces the lake and it was stunning. Classic Chicago pizza was delicious (great to share), the Philly Sandwich, and the wings were both some of the best we've had. Beer was flowing (plenty of options) and the kids were jazzed with their mocktail Watermelon Mojito and Ginger Beer. It's typically priced but worth every penny. Highly recommend and this may just be the highlight of our trip.

Burger was really good, same with the cheesesteak sando. They were out of most beers because the brewer "has been out for a couple weeks." The tots were really good. The beers we did have were the lager, which was actually a dark lager, and an ESB. ESB was good, lager was sub par. Service was good. The place just felt like it was under minimal effort, but maybe it was just a bad time. Would be happy to try again on another visit.

Can't wait to try this place again. It is a hidden gem with a beautiful view of the lake. Patio in the summer is going to be beautiful. We sat at the bar for an app and a beer. The beer was good, but the homemade ginger beer was 10/10! Got the soft pretzel. It had good flavor, but was a bit doughy. I would not get the honey butter. Lacked flavor for $3 extra. They change their menu seasonally which is awesome. Can't wait to try their full menu

The building is located behind Safeway, sitting lakeside, with beautiful views. They have bar seating and tables for groups. The pretzel is a recommended delicious start. The mongolian stir fry was a filling comfort dish. Service was spectacular.

We came in here to have some dinner after skiing and wanted to be on the lake. The food was really flavorful, but the portion of the two things we shared was so small. We shared the pretzel between four of us and that was so good. The honey butter is a must. We also shared the eggplant dish and that was super good but really small. It was more of a side dish for one person. We got the classic pizza to share. It was really delicious, however it was lukewarm when it came out. It seemed like maybe it was made earlier in the day and reheated not to temperature. If we came back and ordered the pizza I would make sure it came out hot.
